( Overview )

SOLVA is a fintech for people whose income arrives in uneven lumps — freelancers, contractors, anyone paid by invoice rather than salary. The product turns many irregular payments into one predictable monthly level. We built the brand and the product together: positioning, identity, and the interface that promise has to survive.

( THE CHALLENGE )

Everyone in this market is selling a loan and calling it stability. The category borrows against your future earnings and dresses the debt up as calm. SOLVA needed a brand that could claim stability honestly and an interface that proved it — because the moment someone's buffer runs low, a reassuring wordmark counts for nothing and the screen has to do the work on its own.

( WHAT WE DID )

Audited the category first: who is in this market, what they actually sell, and where the honest gap sits. "Many payments. One level." came out of that — the mechanism stated plainly instead of another promise of calm.

The mark makes the sentence visible. One shape placed four times, one dot per payment, four irregular inputs resolving into a single line. Giulia for display, Helvetica Neue for anything that has to be read fast under stress.

Then the product, built from the same system rather than beside it. Level, Reserve and Payday as the three things a user actually tracks — and the state nobody designs, the shortfall, treated as a first-class screen. The interface has one job: state the number and defend it.
